How much does a visit cost?
Private in-home acupuncture sessions begin at $250.
When two people receive treatment during the same visit, combined sessions begin at $350. This option is often popular for partners, family members, or friends who wish to receive care together. Two-person visits require both patients to be treated within the same appointment window.
Each home visit is scheduled for approximately 75–90 minutes, which includes consultation, treatment, setup, and cleanup. The primary acupuncture treatment itself typically lasts about 60 minutes from needling to completion.
Additional Traditional Chinese Medicine techniques may be incorporated depending on the patient's needs.
Available add-on therapies
Add-on services may be discussed prior to the appointment or during the consultation. If an add-on therapy is planned and prepaid in advance but ultimately not provided during the treatment, the prepaid amount for that service will be refunded. When add-on therapies are incorporated, portions of the acupuncture treatment time may be adjusted accordingly within the scheduled visit window.
Appointment hours
Standard appointment hours are 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
Appointments scheduled after 7:00 PM are subject to an additional $50 evening fee, and the latest available appointment time is 9:00 PM.
Holiday visits
Visits requested on holidays are subject to an additional $100 holiday fee.
Observed holidays may include: New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Chinese New Year (Lunar New Year Day), and Mid-Autumn Festival. Holiday availability may vary depending on scheduling.
Pricing adjustments
Pricing may vary depending on travel distance, parking/tolls/travel time, number of participants, and scheduling considerations. For visits outside of New York City, additional arrangements may apply. Final pricing is always confirmed prior to scheduling.
Payment & prepayment policy
Payment is accepted via Zelle, Venmo, or cash.
All treatments must be prepaid at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment in order to confirm the visit.
Appointments are confirmed only after completion of the intake form, address verification, and prepayment for the visit. This helps ensure scheduling availability and proper travel planning.
Cancellation policy
Appointments require at least 24 hours notice for cancellation or rescheduling.
Because treatment time is reserved specifically for each patient and travel arrangements are made in advance:
- Cancellations with at least 24 hours notice may receive a full refund or apply the prepaid amount toward a future appointment
- Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment may not be eligible for a refund
- Missed appointments are non-refundable
Travel & scheduling delays
While every effort is made to arrive on time, travel delays caused by traffic, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances may occasionally occur. If delays arise, Eva will communicate updates as soon as possible.
If an appointment must be rescheduled due to travel delays or unforeseen circumstances, the prepaid amount may be applied to a rescheduled appointment or refunded if rescheduling is not possible.
Refund policy
Payments for services already rendered are non-refundable. If a prepaid add-on service is planned and paid for but ultimately not provided during the visit, the prepaid amount for that service will be refunded.
Appointments canceled with proper notice (24 hours or more) may receive a refund or be applied toward a future appointment. Appointments canceled due to unsafe conditions, illegal activity, or inappropriate behavior will not be refunded.
Where are visits available?
Visits are primarily available throughout New York City. Travel to New Jersey, Connecticut, or upstate New York may be arranged depending on scheduling availability and travel considerations.
Right to refuse service
Eva reserves the right to decline or discontinue treatment if circumstances are unsafe, inappropriate, illegal, or outside the scope of professional practice. If a visit must be canceled or terminated due to misconduct, illegal activity, or unsafe conditions, the prepaid amount will not be refunded.
What is required for a treatment?
Clients should provide:
- A clean and quiet space suitable for treatment
- Enough space for a person to sit comfortably with support for the back, head, arms, and legs (such as a lounge chair) — or space for individuals to lie flat comfortably during treatment
- A comfortable indoor temperature
Safety policy
For personal safety and professional boundaries:
- Appointments must be scheduled in advance
- The environment must be safe and appropriate for treatment
- Pets should be secured so they do not interfere with treatment
Eva reserves the right to decline or discontinue a visit if conditions are unsafe or inappropriate.
Illness policy
If you are experiencing a contagious illness, including fever, flu symptoms, COVID, chickenpox, or other airborne infections, please reschedule your appointment. This helps protect both practitioner and patients.
Professional boundaries
Eva maintains professional clinical boundaries during all visits. Any inappropriate behavior will result in immediate termination of the session.
Treatment of minors
Patients under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present to provide consent for treatment.
